Sell On Our Store
One of the main reasons why writers publish is to sell their books and generate profit! Unfortunately, this is not always easy:-( We can help increase your sales by selling your book to the audience in our online bookstore, and this is how it works:
1. Complete the application form below! (NOTE: The pdf version of the book you’ll be asked to attach will be used ONLY to assess the book quality and to propose a cheaper alternative quote for printing the book. It will be kept safely and NOT shared with any third party without your consent! Alternatively, you can submit a physical copy).
2. The book cover will then be listed on INK MATTER online bookstore and our audience will be able to purchase your book online (NOTE: The money, including delivery cost of not more than R100, will be paid to INK MATTER’s account).
3. Printing/Distribution Procedures.
3.1. Author will share the digital and physical version of the book for Ink Matter (Pty) Ltd to review and list onto the e-store and other. The Author will print books and promptly upon request deliver them to Ink Matter (Pty) Ltd and Ink Matter (Pty) Ltd will retain books in stock and deliver them to Ink Matter (Pty) Ltd customers.
3.2. Ink Matter (Pty) Ltd will notify the Author of sales made through the e-store and other sales platforms and also ensure that the book is delivered to the address of the customer who has paid for the book.
3.3. On the last day of each month, all transactions will be consolidated and the Author should send an invoice to Ink Matter (Pty) Ltd for 70% of the selling price of books sold. For bulk orders facilitated by Ink Matter (Pty) Ltd, 50% of the profits will be sent to the author.
